The city successfully sued Beazer for back taxes and collected $80,000 for the construction of the Riverwalk on the property known as Townhouse 4. TH$ is a vacant lot along the creek.
The proposed Riverwalk will connect with the walkway around the marina.
It is the collective opinion of the board of directors and other owners that have been polled, that it serves nobody to complete this walkway.
The city never made contact with any party here at Deep Harbour. We learned about the project by happenstance. Once built, the Deep Harbour Master Association will be burdened with its maintenance, liability, and future restoration. The city and Beazer will contribute nothing.
